Job Objective

Responsible for the development and performance of all activities related to the sale of AMTI’s Products and Services. Translates top level (top down) revenue / growth objectives into definable, addressable sales objectives that are in alignment with AMTI’s short and long term business plans while maintaining AMTI’s vision and core values. Provides leadership towards the achievement of consistent growth of AMTI market share and sales revenue, while retaining maximum profitability. This includes proactive planning, lead development, lead qualification, communications management and development of referral sources. Supervise and coordinate daily activities of “outside” sales representatives engaged in promoting and selling AMTI products in person.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Prepare client specific sales action plans and strategies
  • Schedule sales activities
  • Make new industry contacts promoting sales through relationships and associations.
  • Develop and maintain customer database records
  • Make sales calls to new and on occasion existing clients.
  • Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Work closely with AMTI New Program Introduction team to negotiate with clients
  • Work closely with manufacturing solution development team to create sales proposals
  • Work with AMTI legal to prepare contracts that you will then present to the prospect
  • Create and follow up on activities related to creating new business opportunities for AMTI
  • Maintain sales activity records using a simple but effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software tool
  • Respond to new business inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
  • Work closely with an AMTI account manager to ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
  • Participate in industry events
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Education and Experience
  • Basic ‐ intermediate competency using a Windows computer system with Microsoft Office applications
  • A strong understanding of the principles and practices of sales

Function

The Electronics Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting and reworking all finished product prior to acceptance and shipping. The Electronics Technician must ensure that all products meet specified levels of performance.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Test, adjust, trouble-shoot and rework all sub-assemblies and finished product.
  • Participate in the research and development of test fixtures and equipment.
  • Help the Senior Technician train new and existing Electronic Testers.
  • Submit complete and accurate failure reports daily.
  • Maintain specified quality levels when testing, replacing parts and reworking all product lines.
  • Check and maintain all test equipment and tools.
  • Maintain supply of replacement parts, as needed.
  • Maintain workstation and surrounding areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow all applicable safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of technical experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuitry.
  • Able to read and interpret all testing documentation, including schematics, blueprints and test procedures.
Function

This position performs manufacturing assembly processes to meet customer expectations while maintaining quality of product delivered in a timely manner. This position is under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform basic manual assembly operations (including taping, cable set-up, etc.)
  • Be able to use advanced soldering skills to repair PCB’s to the component level
  • Read Bills of Material (BOM’s) and drawing as specified by AMTI customers
  • Read work instructions on every job performed
  • Maintain AMTI ESD procedures at all times
Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills
  • H.S. diploma or equivalent or minimum of 1-3 years work experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced soldering skills
  • Ability to be cross-trained as required by business needs.
  • Ability to work as a team member on a regular basis.
Description

The Sr. Process Engineer has broad responsibilities for production problem solving, developing and improving manufacturing processes, and leading NPI disciplines in a complex, high technology environment. The Sr. Process Engineer will partner with Design, NPI, and Manufacturing teams to improve producability and drive waste reduction within lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and reduce product quality issues caused by supplier and process variation.
  • Responsible for all facets of SMA Engineering and Manufacturing activities with complete ownership of all manufacturing processes.
  • Perform DFM analysis of the customer’s supplied documentation package and communicate manufacturability concerns directly to the customer.
  • Identify and reduce sources of labor and production machine inefficiency.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles to improve process capability, reduce overall costs, and increase capacity.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) team with engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure bills-of-materials, routings, work instructions, and quality requirements are completed and executed.
  • Provide technical leadership and manage the workload and priorities of Engineers and Technicians within the Process Engineering team.
  • Retrieve, format and correct customer files from design (stencil, CAD, BoM) to generate accurate screen printer programs, pick and place machine programs, reflow profiles, and AOI programs.
  • Design and procure tooling for assembly and test for NPI or process improvements.
  • Review customer Request For Quotation documents and provide accurate direct labor estimates, manufacturing cycle times and tooling requirements.
  • Interact with other disciplines within the division to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
  • Improves manufacturing costs by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment/workstation layout.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing through design of experiments (DOEs) and validation experiments.
  • Provide manufacturing decision –making information by reviewing production, labor, and material costs; reviewing and participating in production planning, and estimating future requirements.
  • Prepare product build reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering discipline with an additional 10-years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a combination of on-the-job technical expertise and industry specific training.
  • Surface Mount Automation, Reflow Soldering, Automated Optical Inspection and Wave Solder experience required (MYDATA, Yestech, Universal highly preferred)
